Mystic Multiples is a collaborative artist duo between Sarah Welch & James Beard. They are a letterpress and risograph publishing group located in Houston, Texas They make art prints, zines, and comics inspired by the Gulf Coast, nature, fantasy, and dark humor. Sarah Welch is the draftsperson and James Beard is the printmaker. Both author comics and zines under the Mystic Multiples imprint. When asked what inspires them:
Sarah: I am just beginning a journey learning how to grow food in our backyard. Spending time in the garden and learning different approaches to horticulture and agriculture is a huge source of inspiration right now.
James: I am currently inspired by studying fungi and delving into the world of early interactive gaming.
