Lizzie-May is an artist and nature-lover based in a small village along the water in Cornwall. Lizzie loves to paint in gouache starting with base layers of loose brushstrokes and working on top with finer details to depict immersive garden scenes. She has developed her style after years of practice and painting what she loves most. She enjoys painting in her sketchbooks, but sometimes she branches out and paints on canvas or other surfaces. Lizzie finds her inspiration from nature, meandering through narrow Cornish lanes with wild hedgerows, visiting botanical gardens and admiring cottage gardens.
