Kate is a freelance illustrator originally from West Yorkshire, but currently living in Scotland. She describes her art as traditional illustrations created mainly with pencils, but she also sometimes works with ink. Although she likes working with traditional materials, she often enjoys digitally stitching and rearranging her drawings together in Photoshop. She like to combine realism with whimsical compositions. She is inspired by the natural world and beauty, as well as all the injustices she sees around her and the feeling of passion that brings.
