Abby is an artist based in Philadelphia, PA. Her art is bright, whimsical, and abstract. She focuses a lot on composition as well as colors and shapes that are interesting and fun. Abby is half Danish, and she gains a lot of inspiration from Danish design and culture. She also loves Impressionist painters, Matisse being her favorite. A lot of color ways, shapes, and tablescapes in her work have been inspired by Matisse’s work. She’s recently started to move more into representational tablescapes and scenes that are pulled directly from her experiences with friends and family as well. Music also plays a huge role in her pieces, and the more abstract pieces she has made are mostly reflective of music she’s listening to while creating the work.
