Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 250 ml milk
  • 45 g flour
  • salt to taste
  • pepper for topping
  • butter for pan and topping
  • sourdough bread for serving

Instructions

  • Mix all of the ingredients together, using a hand blender, until they combine.
  • Then heat some butter in a pan and pour the mixture in.
  • You should stir it constantly, but not too vigorously. You want the lumps to form, but not to be too big. It's done when the consistency becomes thick and creamy. You should be able to drag Your spoon across the pan without the mixture flooding back in. If it's too thick, add milk, if too loose, add flour.
  • Plate it on a plate or in a shallow bowl and top with freshly cracked black pepper and a pat of butter. Eat immediately. You can use a spoon, but sourdough bread is recommended.
