Rosie Fitzgerrel is a landscape painter and graphic designer. Her paintings study how humanity influences and interrupts the natural world and conveys the beauty of the landscape through vibrant colors. She works primarily with Flashe paint, as well as gouache and oil pastels. The abstraction of components within her work is informed by her experience as a graphic designer, lending her compositions a distinct visual rhythm. She lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee with her husband and two children. When she’s not painting, she’s probably making food that her children refuse to eat.
