Maya Owen is a multidisciplinary artist based in Mission Viejo, CA. Her favorite mediums to work in are oil paints, ink, and graphite. Her work is largely inspired by the natural world, namely marine biology, though she also draws heavy inspiration from the high fantasy genre. She often works in the world of custom oil paintings and illustrations for weddings, novels, and the like. Her mission is to bring joy into people’s lives with her work, as well as use her creativity to spread as much positivity in the world as possible. She is currently taking commissions for custom pet portraits to raise money for an animal rescue!
