While it may sound a little wacky, Chelsey & Kevin assured me that this tomato dish was worth a shot. And it was! Stewed Tomatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups whole tomatoes peeled and quartered, or whole cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ stick butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 6 baked biscuits

Instructions
 

  • Mix together tomatoes, sugar, butter, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook till tomatoes start to become saucy.
  • Crumble biscuits into pan.
  • Cover and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve warm!
